Also remember to secure anything valuable or easily breakable as workers may accidentally bump into furniture and other things.
Adjust your living space. If you are only remodeling a room or two in your home, make sure you have space to live as normally as you can during the project. This might mean moving your microwave and toaster into another room if your kitchen is being remodeled. Make sure there is a dedicated area for garbage disposal. You may want to consider staying with a friend or in a hotel.
