What Design Trends Are You Loving?
First, we love a trend question! It is exciting to incorporate new trends into our own homes as well as our clients’ homes. With that being said, there are a few home and design trends that we are excited about this year! One of those trends is finding ways to pull in design elements from generations gone by, also known as the Mixed Era. Whether you have family heirloom pieces that you can show some love to by finding ways to work them into your home’s style or shopping at various antique shops for that piece that works magic in your space. Repurposing Furniture? Yay or Nay?
This question is a good continuation of the previous question, so you may have already guessed that we are saying YAY to this question. You can repurpose furniture in very simple ways that will make a huge impact without spending a lot of money. For example, if you have a desk that had been given to you by a family member or you found it in your favorite antique shop, you can give it new life by sanding it (if needed), restaining it, and/or adding new hardware to make it fit your style.
